ALCAMIDE® sutures are synthetic non- absorbable sterile surgical sutures which are composed of the chain aliphatic polymers Polyamide 6 or 6,6. ALCAMIDE® suture is pigmented blue or black to enhance visibility.
Smooth penetration through the tissue without tissue cutting, friction with minimum wound trauma. ALCAMIDE® sutures are presented in USP 6/0 - USP2 gauge sizes in a variety of lengths from 10 cm to 150 cm, as non-needled or attached to stainless steel needles of varying types and sizes.
